First things first: Time Line

Establishing a time line is critical. While there is minimal contact with canon characters they did make a big splash in the 'verse felt by all.

I am going by the rule that the movie took place in November of 2518. Accept it, I had to. There has been some time progression since then, if you'll notice the tag of the site says it is 2521, I'm going to say it is early October as of the start of this site that means for our cannon reasons it is October 4th when Jeremiah leaves Newhall with Beth, she is 26 having been born December of 2494. 2460 – March 18th Peter Casey is born

2465 – JK marries his first wife Mary at the age of 17

2466 – JK and Mary’s first child is born; her name is Mary as well.

2473 – July 25th James Grimm is born.

-Marick (Kit’s father) is born.

2476 – February 1st Greg Archer is born.

2477 – Tammy (Kit’s mother) is born.

2479 – Casey leaves his adopted home.

2481 – Mary’s last child (Taylor) is born and in the process Mary dies.

2482 – June 18th Tia (Archer) Mirange is born

2483 – JK and SK marry

2504 – Alyssa and Kendrick marry

2506 – Miranda fails (May?)

-War begins

-Alyssa’s studies into calming people earns her a place in a trauma ward during the war helping emergency surgeries (usually of the brain) and therapy afterward.

-James Grimm enlists on the Independence side

-Greg Archer enlists on the Independence side and dies on September 30th defending his injured comrades.

-JK dies after having enlisted in the army for the Independence and lying about his age. He dies in the arms of James Grimm.

-November 30th Gwen and Tia are visited by Greg's comrades.

-December 2nd Tia commits suicide. This leads to a month of tracking down Gwen's aunt.

-December 25th Gwen and her aunt take off for Shinon

2507 – January 2nd Gwen is left in the gardens of House Naddaki and is taken in and trained as a companion.

-January 15th Gwen meets Natasha (Tasha) who has been orphaned herself, and the two become great friends.

2508 – Leah Richards dies July 9th

-July 14th Kyle joins the military for the Alliance

2510 – SK announces her plans to remarry (Feb. 5th)

- Beth runs away (Feb. 20th) and meets Rose on Paquin

- August 19th SK remarries to David believing Beth to have been taken in by slavers.

- September 23rd Beth is found by a family friend and brought back to her mother reluctantly

2511 – Serenity Valley falls (April?)

- The war ends after the fall of Serenity Valley is “official” (for our purposes we’ll say June 1st). Though about 1000 Independence fighters continue to hold Serenity Valley for two weeks after the war is officially over. They are detained for a few weeks before it is decided that the Alliance will show them some mercy and good will and they are released.

-Alyssa is told she’ll never have a child. She continues to work for a VA hospital, but leaves working with patients to work in the lab.

-August 9th Beth’s younger half-sister Jill is born

-November: James joins the crew of the Valiant

2512 – SK and David decide it’s best to leave the kids at his family’s estate while they are on runs.

-December 13th Jan the last child of SK is born

2513 – Beth runs away again early in the year.

-Sarah brings Jan to the family estate on Atlas

2514 – Beth is found again and taken to her Uncle Marick’s

-August Alyssa’s daughter Missy is born

-Casey on New Melbourn running a church

-Sarah dies on Beth’s 20th birthday

2515 – Beth finds out her mother died. She goes to see Dan at their step-father’s family’s property.

-Kyle discharged from the military with Honors at the rank of Sergeant Major (he received the promotion just before the discharge)

2516 – Beth and Kyle meet. Casey is kidnapped by the crew of Lockjaw.

2518 – February: Ezra attacked by Reavers Camille’s mother killed and village destroyed.

-March: Kin finds out how her serum really works. After destroying the research and all but two samples of it she runs.

-May 17th Gwen moves from Shinon to Beaumond, becoming a registered companion in New Dunsmir.

-October: Beth, Kin, and Kyle join the crew of the ship Glory. Ivan Jr. attempts to recruit Kyle late in the month.

-November: The truth hits the wave

-December: Beth convinces Kyle to not join his brother, Kyle leaves on the 24th not telling Beth his intentions.

-Mal finds Camille and tells her about her Uncle’s death. Camille joins the crew of Serenity

-Alyssa runs just before being bound by law

2519 – February: Camille leaves Serenity. Camille joins the Dorian

-March: Dan wins the Herald in hand of poker

-Late March: Kin insists on leaving Glory

-May: James gains ownership of the Valiant. The Dorian leaves Camille on Beaumonde. James meets Camille and hires her to work on the Valiant.

-July: Kin lands on Greenleaf to study the plants there in hopes of finding a cure for the SO’s.

2520 – January: Beth leaves Glory to visit Jess for a few weeks.

-February: Dan finds Beth and has her join his ship

-August 9th Gwen picks up her final customer as a Companion, it turns out he killed her father. She beats him nearly to death and runs. The Alliance black marks her saying she impersonated and attempted to murder someone.

November: Beth and Kyle meet up again he apologizes and explains. They make up, but don’t kiss.

2521 - June: Kit joins the Valiant. The crew of the Valiant meets Beth (end of the month)

-July: Kyle and Alyssa join the crew of the Valiant. Beth finds Kin and insists she join their crew, Kin does. The Valiant crew meets Beth’s twin sister Jess (near the end of the month)

-September: Camille is kidnapped by her father. Kyle and James rescue her and Casey.

-September 5th Gwen is kicked off the last ship she had been on, and left on the planet where she meets up with the others, after she had been there for the last month.

-October 4th: Beth is “bound by law” on Newhall

-October 18th: Beth is rescued on Ezra and her nephew Caleb is born

-November 10th: The Valiant and Herald land on Bylix to meet up with Camille, Gwen, Kyle, Kin, and Alyssa on James’ family farm

-Alyssa is told she’ll never have a child. She continues to work for a VA hospital, but leaves working with patients to work in the lab.

-Before Isaak is sold Beth and her family visits Atlas. Beth meets a boy, she is going under the assumed name Liz (that she uses whenever she doesn’t want to be recognized, but still keeps the stupid red ribbon in her hair, dumbass). The boy worked with Isaak. The boy later died in an explosion (the same one that caused Isaak to lose his hearing). Beth, Isaak and three other guys hang out for the day. Beth and one of the guys get together for the evening. The guys send Beth home, telling her she has to go home, she doesn’t want to, but Isaak walked her home. The next day Beth and her family leave the planet until the next year. When she returns she learned about the explosion that killed her “boyfriend” and deafened Isaak, she looked for Isaak and the others, but never found them.

-Isaak is bought and taken to Bellerophon

-August 9th Beth’s younger half-sister Jill is born

-November: James joins the crew of the Valiant

2512 – SK and David decide it’s best to leave the kids at his family’s estate while they are on runs.

-July: Kin lands on Greenleaf to study the plants there in hopes of finding a cure for the SO’s.

-June: Rose leaves Paquin and rents and old derelict to practice flying for a few months.

-Danielle and Luke Mendez, twins that had been saved by the military trio in the Unification War, started flying with them as well. Not one month later, Aaron finally found the crew, and subsequently his sister, after tracking her for almost a year. He was overjoyed to find her alive, but she did not share the same sentiment. Little did she know that her life would be changed forever in just one week after re-uniting with her brother. Danielle and Luke were found out to be Alliance spies, and in a huge conflict, everyone was killed. Lynne survived because her brother shoved her into an escape pod and she was ejected from the ship about thirty seconds before it exploded in a huge ball of fire. She was picked up by a passing ship and taken to Persephone where she was wrongly imprisoned for the murder of Danielle and Luke.

-Alaster is found by his former first mate, Randy, who snaps him out of his depression, saying that Elma wouldn't want her young brother to be like that, and helped him find a new crew for the Freedom to fly again.

2520 – January: Beth leaves Glory to visit Jess for a few weeks.

-February: Dan finds Beth and has her join his ship.

-March: Rose has to leave the derelict and find work.

-Aug. Rose leaves Paquin joining Freedom when Alaster in a fit of needing a change of scenery gathers together a whole new crew including: Lynn, Rose, Issak and Dr. Ellen.

-September: Camille is kidnapped by her father. Kyle and James rescue her and Casey.

-September 5th Gwen is kicked off the last ship she had been on, and left on the planet where she meets up with the others, after she had been there for the last month.

Dec 23rd - The Herald lands on Greenleaf and quickly leaves again
